Dr. Rahman Ilkhanizadeh, MD
Dr. Ilkhani specializes in vascular and vein procedures at Long Island Surgery. He has over 35 years of surgical experience. Following completion of his medical degree , Dr. Ilkhani completed a residency in cardiovascular surgery at the Tehran Heart Hospital and general surgical residency at the New York Methodist Hospital of Brooklyn. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at the Texas Heart Institute.
Dr. Ilkhani has served as the chief of vascular surgery at New York Methodist Hospital, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He initiated and created vascular labs at New York Methodist Hospital, Metropolitan Hospital, Woodhull Medical Center and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Ilkhani is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Denton A. Cooley Cardiovascular Surgical Society, International Society for Endovascular Surgeons, Brooklyn Surgical Society, International Society of Vascular Surgery and Society of Vascular Technology.
